Alfredo Pinochet is President of LatinTLD, a Registrar/Agent that focuses on the registration and management of domain name portfolios all across Latin America.
Alfredo has been related to the domain name industry since 2001. He later founded LatinTLD with Natalia Viera in 2007, in order to offer the Domain Name Community a Customer Centered, Domain Name Registrar which focuses on Latin America. LatinTLD is a company specialized in servicing our clients' domains in Latin America and the Caribbean, and guiding them in ways to fulfill their needs in this region. LatinTLD has clients mainly in Europe, Asia, Australia/NZ and in the US. We are based in Santiago, Chile and have a network of correspondents in Latin America. We do all domain related services, i.e. Registrations (with and without the client's Local Presence), Renewals, Contact and DNS updates, Registrant Transfers and special services like Domain Name Valuations and assisting our clients in Mediations and Arbitrations, as well as in Buying and Recovering domain names at any Latin American ccTLD.
Born in Buenos Aires, Alfredo has lived in Belgium, Russia, Japan and in Chile, from where he is a citizen. Alfredo is a Licentiate in Management from the Catholic University of Chile and holds a Master of Science degree in Engineering from Hiroshima University, where he specialized in Human-Computer Interaction and Man Machine interfaces in 1994. In 1995, upon returning to Chile, Alfredo led the team that produced the first daily web page for a Finance newspaper in Latin America for the Chilean newspaper called "Estrategia".
Alfredo currently lives in Santiago, Chile and enjoys reading and travelling in his free time. Married to Natalia Viera, Alfredo is father of two boys and a girl.
