Session DetailsThis proposed session for ICANN81 focuses on conducting a Human Rights Impact Assessment (HRIA) on DNS Abuse Mitigation. The session aims to increase awareness of HRIAs and their potential benefits in measuring the success of mitigation efforts qualitatively. It includes a series of role-playing scenarios designed to explore the human rights implications of different DNS abuse cases. The session will also feature facilitated discussions on potential human rights impacts, a panel discussion on HRIAs and human rights, and a conclusion focused on next steps. Ultimately, the session seeks to contribute to the development of qualitative measures for assessing the success of DNS abuse amendments, with a particular focus on the human rights dimension. We are in the process of shaping the session in collaboration with other community members.GNSO Policy Briefing:
