Twenty years of experience in systems and network administration, software engineering, development, databases, requirements analysis, architecture design, implementation and management of Internet core network services.
Known for the ability to tackle difficult issues, analyse viable alternatives, and provide innovative solutions that stick to the project.
Recognized expertise in the development and optimization of business processes, using a proactive approach to problem solving.
Having progressed from exploiting, supervising and upgrading of Internet core network services, to management of the Network Information Center of the Tunisian Internet Operator and building our local registry according to the best practices (deploying anycast DNS secure infrastructure and working with 3R model adopting policies to promote domain name industries. In addition I’m member of the TunIXP association that governs our national IXP.
Having worked closely and effectively with all levels of management to satisfy project / productivity /SLA requirements.
Being an ISOC member I was closely active with the ISOC Tunisian Chapter in organizing several workshops and awareness programs on internet governance, online personal data protection and the safe use on internet, technical DNS workshops and cyber-security
Have been engaged in the Middle East strategy for 5 years within ICANN and being active and a speaker in all Middle East DNS Forum editions.
I have been responsible for developing policy analysis and engaging the wider community of Internet governance stakeholders in the MENA region to study, engage, and develop research advocacy strategies on Internet freedom policies. These activities, when coupled with my enthusiasm and dedication to high-level policy research, strategic planning, and outreach engagement have helped my organization to achieve a high measure of success.
