  • ICANN81 Annual General Meeting will be held in Istanbul, Türkiye at the Istanbul Congress Center (ICC) from 9-14 November 2024. 
  • This will be a hybrid meeting with both in-person and virtual participation.
  • All sessions will be conducted during regular working hours in Istanbul, Türkiye (Turkey Time - TRT / UTC +3).
  • Prep Week (Online Only) will be held 28, 30 & 31 October 2024.

Session Details
During this session, ICANN will share its evolving strategy toward promoting the Universal Acceptance (UA) of all domain names and email addresses. There will be discussions on the collaborative efforts with the community to facilitate the implementation of this strategy, including expanding technical curricula to include Universal Acceptance, creating broader awareness through global UA Day events and more.
