Dr. (Mrs.) Ibiso A. Kingsley-George holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Education (Second Class Upper Division), a Master’s of Science Degree in Finance (Merit Award) and a Doctor of Public Administration Degree (Summa cum Laude). She is also an Open Compliance and Ethics Group Certified Governance Risk and Compliance Professional, a Governance Risk & Compliance Auditor as well as an Integrated Policy Management Professional. She commenced her corporate career in banking, spending three years in business development and over seven years in risk management, where she rose to become the Management Credit Committee Secretary of Skye Bank Plc (Polaris Bank Limited). She joined the Public Service in 2012 and has worked in various spheres of the Nigerian Communications Commission – competition and tariff regulation, credit control and revenue assurance as well as enhancing access and adoption of digital technologies. She is the current Head, Internet Governance Unit, within the New Media & Information Security Department. As a Public Administrator, Dr. Kingsley-George is passionate about the equitable distribution of public goods, efficiency and effectiveness in government and collaborative governance in policymaking. She is a staunch promoter of good corporate governance practices and the implementation of healthy risk management cultures within organisations with specific interests in micro, small and medium enterprises. Empowered with a degree in Education, Dr. Kingsley-George has the ability to transfer knowledge that will provoke her audience to challenge status quo and consider better options of enhancing the overall performance of organisations and countries.
